SECRETARY & TREASURER REPORTS:
The Secretary and Treasurer reports were
summarized by Phil. As always, we are in good financial standing thanks to free
coaching, free pool, and parent assistance with fundraising income. It is very
good to have a cushion so when the day comes when we will be paying more than just
Jay for his coaching, we will have something to work with. That will also entails
meals, mileage, hours at meets that we presently only pay Jay. So, even though
it seems we are well off it can be wiped out real quick. The most recent
fundraiser had Clewien’s reaching the highest profit level. They were awarded
the Wii from the team and the guitar hero from Sass.
THANK OUR SPONSORS:
Another area that keeps us alive and
well is the sponsorships from various businesses/individuals in our area.
Please look over the list and kindly thank those who help us. Many of those
sponsors have come forward for over twenty years. Please contact Mary Lou
Neubauer if you feel you know of a business that you think would still like to
be our sponsor. She was in charge of this area and will know if she already
contacted them. If not, she will.

1.An idea was presented about having a lock-in. We will check with USA swimming to see how our
insurance would cover something like this. Bob Collins said he would take charge of it if it
materializes.
2. I mentioned bowling one day to the kids and they were excited with that idea...
3. We still need a social event chairman to
take charge of this area for the entire year. Any volunteers?
OFFICIAL
BBSC TEAMWEAR: TEAMWEAR MUST BE APPROVED so check with
Board/officers before purchasing items and having them embroidered with the BB
logo.
ELECTION
RESULTS:
Results of elections were:
President: Phil Sass
Vice-President: There was a tie between
Bill Clewien and Lori Ryf.
Mary Lou Neubauer was checking with Matt Chier, the
city attorney, to see how to approach a tie. Would she as a board member vote?
Would everyone have to vote again? ...etc. But prior to receiving an answer and
telling Bill about the tie at the pool, Bill simply said to let Lori Ryf take
over.
Secretary: Beth Sass
Treasurer: Lynda Parman
Board of Directors: Val Hebbe, Jim
Mueller, Mary Lou Neubauer
